    It's not disgusting... That's all in your head. Menstral periods have a bad wrap for being disgusting and embarrassing and it really isn't! It's just blood and it's natural! As long as you and your partner are healthy, there is nothing wrong with it. I didn't want to have sex on my period because I thought my husband would be grossed out by it but he didn't care. The blood didn't bother him at all and it wasn't just because he "wanted some". If it's done without making a mess, there's no big deal. Try taking a shower, insert a tampon, wait a few seconds, and pull it out. I do that and it cleans it up pretty good. You might need a few drops of lube to rewet your vaginal canal, but not much. If you're worried about safety, use a condom. Some women experience nausea or cramps during or after intercourse or after having an orgasm. That's normal, but if it bothers you too much, just wait until you're off your period. And no matter what you hear, it IS possible, though improbable, to get pregnant while having sex on your period.
